Concerned after hearing the broadcast, Hilde contacts the security unit. Rohne, who happens to be at the hospital, receives the message and sets out to find Haley, only to encounter Lethe.

There, she finds Espi standing eerily in another hospital room. When Espi attempts to greet Lethe, Lethe uses her ability on her, leaving Espi "zombified" just like Rohne.

When Erpin headbutts her way through the door, Haley mistakes her for a zombie queen and engages her in battle. Erpin is about to win when Rohne regains consciousness and accidentally knocks some shelves onto her.

When she attempts to use her ability on Haley again, Erpin suddenly bursts out from beneath the fallen shelves and throws off her aim, allowing Haley to capture her.

However, Haley sees a bit of herself in Lethe and steps in to protect her. After discovering that Lethe's ability has had somewhat of an effect on Haley, Hilde offers Lethe a chance to work for her at the hospital and help with Haley's treatment instead of handing her over to the Suppression Unit.
